FM 81 Survival Knife, simple in construction, robust, well balanced, extremely durable, a typical tool for the professional. Manufactured by Glock®, the Austrian arms manufacturer. This legendary knife is popular with uniformed services, collectors, outdoor enthusiasts and survivalists. The durable blade is perfect for cutting, piercing, sawing, shearing, chopping and digging.
Blade - with a Clip-Point profile and a thickness of 5 mm, made of durable spring steel SAE 1095 (carbon steel) hardened to 55 HRC, coated with black phosphate coating to protect against corrosion. Plain type blade. On the back of the blade there is a universal multifunctional double-edged saw. At the base of the head a steel hilt, which protects the hand from accidental slipping during operation, also serves as a cap opener.
Scabbard - grey in colour from polymer used in the production of components for Glock pistols. The knife is locked in the sheath by means of a solid safety catch which prevents it from falling out. The design of the snap makes it possible to pull the knife out quickly with one hand. In the upper part of the scabbard there is a clasp enabling attaching the scabbard to the belt without the necessity of attaching it through the belt. In the lower part of the scabbard an opening allows to attach the knife to the thigh.
Handle - ergonomic in grey (gray), allows a secure and comfortable grip. Made of hardened polymer identical to the scabbard. The back part of the handle (head) ended with a polymer rivet, after removing it we can put the knife on the spar and use it as a spear.
