Reflector

SMO (smooth) type, made of polished aluminum provides a large perfect outer ring, inside which there is a perfectly round intense glowing center. The special lens technology on the head enables a light transmission of 99% of both the main beam and the side beam.

Body

Made of 6061-T6 aircraft duralumin coated with Mil-Spec HAIII, used in the aerospace industry for its lightness and strength. The texture of the body prevents the flashlight from slipping out of your hand during use. Threads secured with rubber o-rings, the whole meets the IPX8 standard for water and dust resistance. Two-position clip allows you to carry the flashlight in tip-up/tip-down position.

Power supply

Rechargeable battery 14500 (included) or alkaline battery AA or rechargeable battery AA Ni-Mh. It is suggested to use the included Klarus 14GT-80UR rechargeable battery, which thanks to the built-in micro-USB socket will allow us to charge it with any USB charger.

Lens

Hardened optical glass. Scratch-resistant, covered with an anti-reflective layer.

Electronics

The light source of this flashlight is a high-performance LED CREE XP-L HD V6 which in High mode can light with a brightness of 1000 lumens for over an hour!
Electronics are protected by innovative ITS (Intelligent Thermal Protection System) which monitors the temperature and automatically adjusts operating parameters to protect our flashlight from damage.
Two setting modes, Tactical and Outdoor, double switch giving direct access to special modes, with built-in memory of the last light level. Three light output levels and two special modes, Strobo and SOS.

In 2009, the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) along with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) created the first global standard for defining, measuring and labeling flashlights. Called ANSI / NEMA FL1, these standards allow consumers to choose the best flashlight with simple icons. FL-1 Standard (flashlight performance as measured by the new batteries included with the flashlight or recommended by the manufacturer).
