The Silex+ sports eyewear provides a panoramic field of view and offers an attractive look with its flexible temples. Silex+ are also ultra-lightweight and provide excellent optical quality and ultimate wearing comfort.
Made of 2.2 mm thick Curve 9 polycarbonate, they provide a very wide field of vision and protect against 100% UVA/UVB rays (according to European light protection standard EN 172 Solar 100% UV). In addition, they are covered with Platinum coating that prevents fogging and scratching. The lenses have the military ballistic resistance certificate STANAG 2920 for mechanical damage as a result of direct impact (221 m/s) and T (sudden flame impact - temperatures of 420oC).
STANAG 2920 - ballistic protection standard introduced in NATO since 1985. This method determines the parameter V50, which means the velocity in m/s at which there is a 50% probability that a standard 1.1 g shrapnel will penetrate the tested ballistic shield.
Without the classic frame, the arms have been attached directly to the lenses. For a better grip, the arms have been equipped with non-slip inserts in a contrasting color, the comfort of wearing is also increased by the non-slip nose pad. On both arms there is the name of the manufacturer.
