AUS-10 - Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series, and for good reason, as the compositions are similar, but these minor differences make AUS-10 harder (hardened usually around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing rust resistance. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade advancement mechanism.
