Damascus - a blackened damascus stainless steel blade with a unique pattern. Finished using the Black Hand Rubbed method, hand rubbed black damascus. The blade consisting of two different types of steel, forged and put together in different ways obtaining this amazing pattern. The steel is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Blade - Drop Point type, finished by hand using Black Hand Rubbed method. The wide blade converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade in two ways, with a double-sided stud in the blade (Double Thumb Stud) or a quick flipper front flipper. The entire blade is locked with a state-of-the-art Nested Liner Lock.
Nested Liner Lock, a modification of the liner-lock, consisting in nesting the liner of the locking mechanism in the liner.
Handle - made of Linen Micarta composite (linen fabric pressed under pressure with synthetic resin), beveled edges of the cover eliminates sharp edges. The whole is screwed to a solid backspacer, also made of Micarta. Above the clip a hole for threading a belaying or decorative cord. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized Civivi brand logo. A two-position (right/left) steel deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
Case - comes with a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
