Rokot Dark Green Micarta, Satin, a large and powerful EDC folding knife, the result of a collaboration between Ivan D. Braginets and the RealSteel Knives company. Handle made of G10 composite, N690 stainless steel on the blade, construction that allows heavy work. A tool that will never fail!
Ivan D. Braginets - a creator from Ukraine, built his first folding knife when he was just 15 years old. Through his experience as an engineer and talent for craftsmanship, he finds the optimal balance between aesthetics and functionality. According to his philosophy, a knife is not only a tool, but also an object of unique harmony.
Real Steel Knives - founded in 2013 in Hangzhou, China. Over time, RSK has become a leading knife manufacturer not only in China offering a wide range of products. It collaborates with well-known designers, including those from Poland, to produce aesthetically pleasing and durable knives. An extremely important channel of information for the company is contact with fans, who through their support and feedback constantly develop the offerings. The company's mission is to revolutionize the knife industry to always deliver the best possible quality and service.
N690 - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C) martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 58-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Drop Point type with an elegant Satin finish. The slightly curved cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Phosphor bronze washer supports the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with a dual thumb stud in the wedge (dual thumb stud) cutout nail nick or front flipper. As a result, the knife can be easily used by right- and left-handed people. To maintain full control of the blade, the back of the wedge is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest. The whole thing is locked by a simple and proven Liner Lock.
Handle - rough Micarta composite (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin) grips, the characteristic pattern of dashes and dots on the handle is the designer's name in Morse code. Not only a visual treatment, but also a practical one, the texture increases grip security. The grips are screwed to the backspacer, further stiffening the entire structure. Simple, solid construction gives you the confidence of many years of use. The deep-carry, two-position (right/left) clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position.
