On Belay Flamed ''RipCurl''/Black PVD Titanium, Black PVD, folding knife with frame lock. Super-strong construction with a 4.8mm thick Blade. Version with black PVD-coated blade and customised Flamed ''RipCurl'' Handle. The elongated opening and dusky flipper fin allow the knife to be opened quickly with a flick of the wrist with one hand. Secure titanium clip and lanyard hole for everyday carry convenience.

Greg Medford's idea was to create the most reliable knives imaginable while retaining their beauty and adding the 'soul' of a handmade finish.

CPM S45VN - corrosion resistant, mechanical stress resistant American CPM S45VN powder steel with added carbon, chromium and vanadium with a hardness of 58-59 HRC which is a developmental version of the well-known and popular S30V steel. This unique steel is designed for the manufacture of premium blades and knives, produced at Crucible Inc's steel mills.

In this version of the On Belay Flamed ''RipCurl''/Black PVD Titanium, Black we get a black PVD-coated Blade, a hand-hammered concave cut and an elongated hole in the blade with which to open the knife. For increased insensitivity to contamination, phosphor bronze washers were used to make the pivot axis more resistant to field work. A powerful titanium frame lock bar secures the knife against folding, unfolded and secured the knife is as solid as an armoured cash register.

The titanium handle has been personalised (custom) on the presentation side by adding a Flamed ''RipCurl'' finish. The lock side has been coated with a black PVD coating. The titanium backspacer ends in a glass nailer with a hole for interlacing a safety or decorative cord. The whole is completed by a solid clip, also in titanium, of course.

Comes with a Peli-type waterproof case for storing and carrying the knife.
