Alpino Mamba Rescue Folder high quality rescue knife with an original design that should be owned. 440 steel blade with titanium coating. The dark anodized aluminum handle pads match the matt blade. The knife was packaged in an elegant case of corrugated aluminum - the perfect gift idea.
Blade - with 2.8 mm thickness with Drop Point profile in AISI 440 stainless steel, hardened in the 55-57 HRC range. Smooth blade (Plain type) was derived with a concave cut (Hollow Grind) providing good cutting properties. The blade is covered with a matt and non-reflective Titanium-Coated coating. The oval cutout on the blade enables comfortable and quick opening of the knife. Solid blade blockade: Liner-Lock type. The blade is mounted on the main axis with a screw that can be used to adjust the looseness and force needed to open the blade.
Handle - textured anodized aluminum claddings with a dark and non-reflective coating. Profiled finger cut and notches on the back of the handle Spine Jimping makes it easy to grip. The knife is equipped with a metal clip screwed with two torx screws that allows you to move the knife in the tip-down position. The folder is equipped with a safe belt cutter and a pin for striking glass.
The notched ramp for thumb and Finger Choil profiled undercut under the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge increase control over the knife.
Aluminum box - the folder was packed in an elegant box measuring 160 x 84 x 54 mm from corrugated aluminum with transparent plexiglass walls. Inside, a sponge filling protects the contents against movement and damage.
