Endura 4 FRN British Racing Green ZDP-189 Plain, model with the best cutting properties from Endura knives. The blade is made of Japanese ZDP-189 powdered steel, resistant to dynamic transverse loads, perfectly maintains sharpness, used in the production of the highest quality knives.

The fourth generation of the legendary Endura knives is a reinforced skeleton construction combined with torx screws (facilitates cleaning, adjustment of the folder) and a 4-way clip positions mounted in four planes. Thanks to improved ergonomics and design, the knives have gained stiffness, functionality and aesthetics.  

In 1990, Spyderco Company introduced two models of knives on the market: Endura and Delica, creating the demand for light folders that open with one hand at the great price. These products became bestsellers and the Endura folder was in the top 10 ranking of utility and tactical knives.  

Blade - with a Clip Point profile, 3 mm thickness, made of Japanese, powdered stainless steel ZDP-189 with a hardness of 64HRC. This phenomenal steel produced in Hitachi steelworks contains 3% carbon and 20% chromium. Resistant to dynamic lateral loads, it perfectly maintains sharpness. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a Full Flat Grind. This cut has reduced the weight of the knife and improved cutting properties. On the back of the blade, a textured thumb ramp. SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows you to open the knife with one hand. Blade lock (Back-Lock) with additional protection against accidental release of the lock during a strong grip (notch in the blockade) of David Boye's project.  

Handle - classic color British Racing Green, covered with non-slip textured (Bi-Directional Texturing) - strengthens the grip even with wet hands. Made of plastic FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), fiberglass reinforced nylon. The folder is equipped with a solid metal screw-on clip with the possibility of fixing in four planes (up / down, right / left). 4-way clip positions. Notches on the handle Spine Jimping handle increases comfort and grip.  

Frame - a knife reinforced with two steel plates with holes cut into which cladding was attached. This ensures high durability with a low knife weight. The whole was screwed by torx screws. The phosphor bronze pads make it easier to open and close the penknife.
