420H - a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of 0.17% to 0.23%, also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) offers high hardenability in the 54-58 HRC range, as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade - Bowie profile was coated with non-reflective non-reflective Satin Finish (semi-matt) coating. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with concave cut (Hollow Grind), provide good cutting properties. Universal cutting saws on the ridges of the blade, cuts incl. wood, ropes, belts. At the base of the blade, there are two-sided black deers, protecting against slipping hands on the blade.
