Muela PIK-AS Knife Black Rubber, Satin 420H

PIK-AS is one of Muela's most popular knives. Extremely handy and easy to carry due to its size and light weight. It features a comfortable handle and a strong short blade with a rounded cutting edge. It works well during out-of-town trips as a finka or survival knife.

420H - a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with an increased carbon (C) content of 0.17% to 0.23%, also containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo). It offers high hardenability in the 54-58 HRC range, as well as strength, ductility, machinability and corrosion resistance. The high carbon content forms chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades, and medical instruments.

Blade - Trailing Point type for precision work and cutting with a marked belly, with an elegant satin finish. The small thickness of the blade in combination with Hollow Grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. At the base of the head, a single guard hilt prevents the hand from slipping on the blade. 

Handle - made of moled flexible elastomer lining in black. The soft synthetic rubber handle guarantees a good grip, the knife does not slip from the hand, and a strong and secure grip allows you to make precise knife movements. In the back of the handle lanyard hole.

Scabbard - hand-stitched, leather clasp. Sheath of the scabbard with embossed logo of the manufacturer. The holster is stitched on the edges with decorative thread. Fastening to the belt or to the equipment of the equipment allows to carry the knife in an upright position.
