Manix 2 G-10 Black / Black Blade - one of the best EDC folders on the market. This is the second generation of one of the most recognizable Spyderco knives, a model with a head covered with a non-reflective DLC coating and one of the strongest Ball Bearing-Lock locking mechanisms. Produced at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).
Made of corrosion-resistant, resistant to mechanical stress CPM S30V American powder steel with the addition of carbon, chromium and vanadium, hardness 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the production of high-quality blades and knives, manufactured in the ironworks Crucible Inc.
Ball Bearing-Lock - one of the strongest locking mechanisms on the blade. Hardened ball bearing placed in a black polymer basket in the open position pressed against the blade by means of a spring. Made in USA.
Blade - with Leaf-Shaped profile, thickness 3.2 mm. Covered with a scratch-resistant, matte and non-reflective DLC (Diamond Like Coating) coating in black color. Smooth blade (Plain type) has been brought out with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind). The flat cut provides excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp point. An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows you to open the knife also in the glove. Clear Finger Choil - an arched cut under the index finger and a notched thumb ramp on the back of the blade facilitate control of the knife.
Handle - textured linings in black color. Made of durable, resistant to high and low temperatures and chemicals G-10. The knife is equipped with a solid metal clip (left / right) allowing you to carry the knife in the tip-up position (tip up). Spine Jimping ribbing of the incision on the back of the handle increases comfort and grip. In the back of the grip, an enlarged hole (lanyard hole) to pull the leash or safety rope.
