W 1.4116, X50CrMoV15 - molybdenum-vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high hardness, as for stainless steels. Resistant to corrosion under kitchen conditions. It is a recommendable alternative to 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13 material. The chemical composition is enriched with Chromium content, Molybdenum and Vanadium addition.
Regular maintenance of W 1.4116, X50CrMoV15 stainless steel prevents the formation of deposits and maintains its shine. It also facilitates the removal of spots and tarnish. Cleaning should be done before there is a visible layer of dirt or fingerprints, so the danger of permanent discoloration of the steel surface is minimized. For cleaning, do not use agents that contain: chlorine, salt, acids and bleach.
Blade - with a Clip Point profile, brought out with a flat grind (Flat Grind) Plain type smooth blade. On the back of the blade an eyelet for cutting nets and a multifunctional saw for cutting hard materials, plastics and fibrous materials such as ropes, cords, lines or nets. At the base of the blade a rider, which protects the hand from accidental slipping during work.
Handle - black in color. Covered with non-slip textured facings made of PP polymer. The ergonomic shape of the facings prevents the hand from slipping during work, facilitates the use of the knife also with gloves. In the back of the tang, a hole (lanyard hole) for pulling a safety line. The head is finished with a steel hammer.
Sheath - made of hard PP polymer with holes for drainage of water, moisture. The holster is equipped with a locking latch to prevent the knife from slipping out in water. The sheath comes with two rubber straps and 2 plastic buckles for attaching the sheath to the inside of the calf / shin or to the jacket.
