Extrema Ratio NightMare, Black Folder (04.1000.0454/BLK)

NightMare Black, highly advanced karambit and rescue knife in one. This is a project of the Italian Extrema Ratio Company. A great tool as well as an extremely effective full-size knife for professional use. The folder opens and closes slightly and smoothly. Experienced seasoned karambit users will not be disappointed.

Blade - with a curved, Americanized Tanto profile and a thickness of 3 mm with a false blade increasing piercing properties. Made of high-strength, rugged, high-grade N690 stainless steel, 58 HRC hardness, manufactured by the Austrian Böhler-Uddeholm steelworks. Covered with a scratch-resistant matte, unreflective MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING coating. The partially serrated blade (Combo type) has been made with a flat cut (Flat grind) that provides durability, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance of textile, hard plastics and fibrous materials. Dual blade lock system: Robust Liner-Lock mechanism assisted by an additional manual lock. Steel double sided after folding the blade works like a Flipper or as an Emerson hook serving to quickly open the blade in two ways.

Handle - liners made of stainless steel and non-slip, textured grip cladding in anodized aluminum provide lightness and structural strength. Open construction, called „open-backed” simplifies cleaning and maintenance. Solid left / right-handed metal clip allows you to move the knife in the tip-up position (tip top). On the back of the handles replaceable standard industrial blade intended for cutting belts. The handle is finished with an enlarged finger ring that allows traditional techniques to be cut with a knife, making it easy to quickly rotate the folder around the finger located in the head opening.
