Herbertz Solingen Drop Point Knife Folder 82mm (570712)

500712 - original, medium-sized asymmetric, folding knife with a modern design by the German brand Herbertz Solingen. The production uses proven materials of wood, aluminum and stainless steel. The beauty of the folder is emphasized by the TC (Titanium Coated) protective coating that eliminates reflections, which covered the knife blade.

Blade - about Drop Point profile, 2.9 mm thickness. The blade was made of durable, resistant to chipping and cracking, hardened in the 54-56 HRC range, stainless steel AISI 420. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with concave cut (Hollow Grind) with excellent cutting properties. The double-sided stud on the sides of the blade - Thumb Stud - facilitates the quick opening of the blade. A notched ramp for thumbs on the back of the blade makes it easier to operate the knife. Blade blockade: Liner Lock type. 

Handle - asymmetrical, on one side aluminum claddings combined with textured wood inserts. The other side of the grip is a full aluminum cover. Spine Jimping notched notches on the back of the handle increase grip reliability, also with wet hands. The spring clip attached with torx screws allows the folder to be moved in the tip-down position. A gap in the back of the handle, allows the security cable to be fitted.
