MAC Coltellerie 180mm diving knife (SQUALO 18 BLACK)

SQUALO 18 BLACK, universal full tang diver's knife from the Italian company MAC Coltellerie. An indispensable piece of equipment during diving expeditions, useful on land.

Head - with Clip Point profile, thickness 3.8 mm. Made of polished stainless molybdenum-vanadium steel W 1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) with high corrosion resistance, suitable for prolonged contact with water. Hardened steel in the range of 55-56 HRC. Flat grind, smooth blade of Plain type. On the back of the blade eyelet for cutting nets and multifunctional saw for cutting hard materials, plastics and fibrous materials such as ropes, cords, lines and nets.

Handle - black. Covered with non-slip, textured PP polymer handle pads. Ergonomic shape of the facings prevents your hand from slipping while working, makes it easier to use a knife also in gloves. In the rear part of the handle hole (lanyard hole) to pull the safety cable.

Case - made of hard PP polymer with holes for drainage of water, moisture. The holster is equipped with a locking latch to prevent the knife from slipping out in water. Two rubber straps and 2 plastic buckles are attached to the scabbard, allowing the case to be attached to the inside of the calf / shin or to the jacket.
