Extrema Ratio Defender 2 Black Forprene, Black N690 (04.1000.0488/BLK)

Defender 2 Black, the combat version of the compact (back-up) Scout knife with a false blade. Developed for users who appreciate an inverted grip. Slender 118 mm blade, with blood-draining slots on both sides of the blade. The false blade is designed to allow the thumb or whole hand to rest in accordance with the two-knife fighting technique. Handy and easy to carry due to its dimensions, flat design and low weight.

Blade - Spear Point is made of well-sharpened, durable high-cobalt N690 stainless steel with a hardness of 58 HRC, manufactured in the Austrian steelworks Böhler-Uddeholm. The blade is chemically polished with a non-reflective MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING coating. The plain Plain blade has been ground with a high flat grind. The high grind provides excellent cutting edge geometry and the false blade facilitates penetration. Upper jimping long textured thumb rest and single finger guard single sided jimping / guard to protect the hand from slipping on the blade.

Handle - covered with lining with rubber-like properties. Made of non-slip thermoplastic elastomer Forprene (elastic return, softness, resistance to chemicals), provides a secure grip. Scabbard - lightweight, made of Kydex material in black. Universal openwork, the holster protects the knife from falling out and facilitates drying the head. (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) or on the belt.
