N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with the addition of molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Achieves a hardness of 58 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - 6.3 mm thick with Tanto profile. On both sides of the blade blood grooves (armor). The blade is coated with MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING chemical non-reflective coating. Plain blade has a Flat grind for good cutting properties. On the back of the blade notched support for the thumb (upper jimping).

Handle - covered with non-slip rubber-like facings made of Forprene thermoplastic elastomer (elastic return, softness, resistance to chemicals), provides secure grip also when wet. Steel head with enlarged lanyard hole can be used as a hammer/glass breaker and more...

Sheath  - Wolf Grey injection molded nylon with M.O.L.L.E. strap attachment. (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment). The universal openwork holster keeps the knife from falling out (snap), reduces weight and makes it easy to dry the blade. Lower part of holster with Velcro strap to secure knife to thigh.
