ROK Black Aluminum Black, Satin Finish the unique folder of the Italian manufactory LionSteel with handle manufactured in Solid® technology is proof of the high technological development used in the production of knives. An extraordinary tool with intelligent and useful functions, thanks to which it gained recognition at the Blade Show by winning the Manufacturing Quality Award.

Design by Molletta, fruit of a collaboration with a well-known and respected designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

NFC lionSTEEL - technology that the manufacturer has included in the kit. After installing the app on your smartphone, you can view product information, activate the warranty, contact customer service and get information about other LionSteel products.

M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - Drop Point type with well defined blade belly for excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The Plain blade has a Flat Grind that perfectly shows off the matte satin finish. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest.

ReF - (Removable Flipper System) located on the underside of the head projection / flipper fin assisted by Double Crown makes it easy to open the blade with one hand. It consists of a small lever (projection) protruding beyond the back of the handle when the head is closed. In the open position the protrusion acts as a hilt, protecting the hand against slipping on the blade. In the folder it is possible to unscrew the Removable Flipper System lever (unscrew the flipper fin and then insert the second screw located in the box) and open the blade with both hands. This is important in countries where there is a ban on single-handed knives in public places.

IKBS - ball bearing system, allows fast and smooth opening of the blade.

Solid Frame-Lock - reinforced, monolithic lock of the blade made of Ergal aluminum. One of the facings serves as a locking mechanism.

RotoLock - lock with a patented additional locking mechanism in the shape of a titanium shield by Gianni Pauletta. When the knife is open, turning the RotoLock approximately 1/8 turn clockwise wedges the locking mechanism, preventing unintentional release of the blade lock, providing the same stability of the blade as in knives with a fixed blade. Grip with non-slip texture for better grip.

Handle - made of a single block of Ergal aluminum machined with Solid® Knife technology. Using CNC machine tools resulted in a lightweight, monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength, which is a solid structural element. Non-slip textured facings for a better grip.

H.WAYL - (Hide What Annoys You Lionsteel) hidden right-side clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. Retracting the clip is done only with the push of a button. A solution appreciated during prolonged use of the knife, when the classic protruding clip may interfere during work.
