Ladybug 3 FRN Black Spyder, an ultra-lightweight flat compact folding knife from Spyderco. Thanks to the improved ergonomics of the Spine Jimping grip fits well in the hand despite its small size. A perfect EDC folder.

 

Head - with a modified Clip Point shape, 2 mm thick, made of Japanese stainless steel VG-10 (easy to sharpen, holds sharpness well). Blade hardened to 59-61 HRC. Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating eliminates glare. Saber Grind. Round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows opening the knife with the thumb. Solid Back-Lock with Boye Detent cut-out, preventing accidental release of the lock when the knife is firmly gripped. Notched thumb rest.

 

Spyder Edge - (Spyderco patent) new Spyder serrated blade with improved edge geometry, consists of alternating one large and two small teeth so called two-step. This pattern increases the length of the cutting edge by up to 24% compared to a straight blade. Ideal for cutting hard materials, plastics and fibrous materials such as ropes and belts.

 

Handle - black colour. Made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) material, with Bi-Directional Texturing (Bi-Directional Texturing) for excellent grip, even with greasy or wet hands. The notched ramp and the back of the handle called Spine Jimping increase grip security. In the back of the handle a hole for the cord.
