D2 - high carbon tool steel blade with a touch of chromium. A combination of strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.

Head - drop point, satin finish. The thick belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards a needle-sharp tip of the knife. The small thickness of the blade in combination with the high Hollow Grind gives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth running of the opening mechanism of the blade, which can be opened with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping blade, notched thumb rest. Liner lock mechanism.

Handle - black G10, textured for better grip. The whole is mounted to steel liners. In practice this means many years of work without weakening the construction. The so-called open-backed construction without a typical backspacer, fixed to each other with steel spacers facilitates cleaning in the field. The pivot is decorated with a stylised Civivi brand logo. The right-side metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade up). Above the clip a lanyard hole, an oval hole for a cord.

Case - the knife is packed in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand logo for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
