Frank Beltrame Switch Dagger w/Serigraphy 23cm switchblade (FB 23/SG)

Switch Italian Dagger w/Serigraphy 23cm, traditional Italian spring knife with handle, plastic in black and white camouflage. Opening of the blade must be done in a few hundredths of a second (a feature of Stiletto knives). Completely handmade according to the principles of Italian craftsmanship, the knives from the legendary Frank Beltrame manufactory have become world famous for their extreme lightness and strength. Thanks to its characteristics, the Italian dagger is suitable for use in any environment. Solid, sturdy construction and a powerful opening blade spring are the hallmarks of classic Frank Beltrame spring knives.

Steel

AISI 420 MA5M (American Iron and Steel Institute) - martensitic stainless steel rich in carbon 0.15% and containing min. 12% chromium. In the annealed condition it has good formability and excellent corrosion resistance. AISI 420 grade has the highest chromium content of all stainless steels 12-14% and hardness in the range of 52-56 HRC.

Blade

Extremely sharp, precisely made blade with Dagger profile, 3.5 mm thick from stainless steel AISI 420 MA5M, easy to sharpen with high corrosion resistance. Hardened steel 56 HRC. Plain blade with Flat grind for excellent cutting and penetration properties.

Handle

Covered with serigraphic coloured plastic with black and white camouflage pattern. The grip covers finished with bolsters made of polished nickel, provide comfortable, secure grip. Safety is enhanced by the ergonomic shape of the handle which prevents slipping of the hand during work. Rivets made of brass.

Spring

Special attention is paid to the design of the spring (stainless steel): the opening of the blade must take place within a few hundredths of a second (a feature of Stiletto knives). The Beltrame folder, when opening the blade, emits a characteristic sound (click) that distinguishes it from other spring-loaded knives.

Locking device

Protects against accidental folding or opening of the blade. The automatic knife is opened with a solid button located on the handle.
