Chimera Gray Titanium, Bead Blast Stonewash an exceptional knife aimed at the discerning consumer, made from the finest materials. CPM S35VN - American martensitic stainless steel, one of the best steels for blades. Designed to provide better strength compared to CPM S30V, while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. The chemical composition has been balanced so that it is composed of 0.5% niobium carbides along with 3.0% vanadium and 14.0% chromium carbides. Replacing some of the niobium carbides with vanadium carbides makes it about 15-20% harder than S30V without losing wear resistance. It is also easier to machine and polish. The improved CPM strength of S35VN provides better resistance to edge chipping. The CPM process produces a very uniform, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Manufactured in Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) mills.

Blade - massive Clip Point with well marked belly combined with high, flat grind gives us excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. The blade is finished with Bead Blast Stonewash method which masks minor scratches caused by use. Monolithic locking mechanism proven Frame Lock with hardened steel insert to prevent wiping of lock face.

Handle - milled to improve grip with thick pieces of solid titanium. The facings are screwed to an intricately machined titanium backspacer, giving the assurance of many years of use. Similarly, as in other WE model, the pivot is decorated with a stylized manufacturer's logo. Notches on the thumb ramp and flipper tab along with the finger choil, a deep index finger notch between the handle and the cutting edge, make it easy to control the knife and also protect the hand from slipping on the blade. Right-side, single-position titanium clip allows knife to be carried in tip-up position. Rear handle has a lanyard hole, an oval opening for a decorative or safety cord.

Case - the knife is packaged in a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transport of the folder.
