CPM 20CV - one of the best tool steels in the world, an American premium martensitic stainless steel. Manufactured by US Crucible Industries according to the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process. The CPM process yields a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide better wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. This super steel is comparable to Bohler's M390 steel or Carpenter's CTS-204P. According to some knife manufacturers, 20CV is the best of these three steels in terms of edge retention. It consists of 19.0% carbon, 20.0% chromium, 4.0% vanadium, 1.0% molybdenum and 0.6% tungsten. The high percentage of chromium with a touch of molybdenum makes 20CV one of the best high-end corrosion-resistant steels.

Blade - drop point type, finished with gray stonewashed method. The thicker the blade is, the longer the cutting edge length in relation to the length of the blade converges towards a needle sharp tip. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind guarantees razor-sharp cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings aid in the opening of the blade which can be opened in two ways, with the Thumb Slot or the quick index-finger flipper which acts as a hilt when opened. To maintain blade control, the back of the blade is covered with upper jimping, a long notched thumb rest. Finger choil, a notch under the index finger prevents the blade from slipping while performing precise tasks. Whole blade is locked with proven and popular frame lock with steel insert protecting against wiping the lock face.

Handle - made of solid titanium 6AL4V finished in gray color. In order to improve grip a moleting was made on both sides by means of 3D CNC machine. Facings were screwed together using titanium backspacer creating a simple and solid construction. The deep carry clip, single-position (right), made of titanium, allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. As in other models, the pivot is decorated with a stylized logo of the manufacturer.

Case - included zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transport of the folder.
