Intention II Coyote is an automatic knife with a remarkable design, made of very good materials at an attractive price. Large automatic knife with safety against accidental opening.
Drop point blade finished in Dark Stone Wash with popular D2 tool steel. The thick belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the head converging towards a needle sharp tip of the knife in combination with a high, concave grind (Hollow Grind) gives excellent cutting properties. The blade is set on Teflon pads supporting the opening mechanism, thanks to which you can efficiently unfold the folder with the press of a button. The whole is locked with a proven button lock.
D2 - high carbon tool steel. Thanks to its high content of 10-13% chromium it offers greater resistance to corrosion than most high carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and abrasion resistance.
Handle - chamfered G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin) facings in Coyote color. Surface of cover plates with fine texture which improves grip, additionally milled deeper cuts. The whole is mounted to a stainless steel frame. To stiffen the construction screwed to the solid backspacer. Simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. In the back of the handle there is a lanyard hole, which is an opening for a safety or decorative cord. In the upper part you will find a notched support: thumb ramp (spine jimping) making precise work much easier. Next to the blade release button there is a safety slide to prevent accidental opening.
