Steel

AUS-10 - Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series and for good reason, as the compositions are similar, however, these small differences make AUS-10 harder (usually hardened to about 60 HRC) and blunts slower, without losing its rust resistance. Knives made of this steel are relatively cheap and will be a great choice if your budget is not too high and you care about stainless.

Blade

Sheepfoot type, finished with Sandblast method which masks scratches and prevents glare. Long cutting edge in relation to the length of the head converges towards a needle sharp tip of the knife. Thickness of blade provides high strength while high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings provide smooth and seamless operation of the blade ejection mechanism. The opening in the blade allows both left and right handed users to open the knife quickly and easily. On the back of the wedge upper jimping, notched thumb rest. Small choil for easy sharpening. Liner-lock mechanism.

Handle

Blue G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin) textured handle grips screwed to steel frame for better grip. The open-backed design attached by steel spacers reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. Simple, robust design gives assurance of many years of use. Deep forefinger groove improves grip security. The pivot is embellished with a stylized Kubey Knife brand logo. A two-position (left/right) metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in the tip-up (blade tip up) position.
