Steel
D2 - high carbon tool steel. With its high 10-13% chromium content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.
Blade
Drop point type, finished with Stonewashed method for masking scratches. Long, slim cutting edge converges towards needle sharp tip of the knife. Thickness of blade provides high strength while high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth operation of the blade ejector mechanism. When opened the flipper creates a mini-guard to prevent slipping of the hand on the blade. The knife can also be opened by means of a hole milled in the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, notched thumb rest. Liner-Lock mechanism.
Handle
Black G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin) textured for better grip, screwed to steel knife frame. The whole is bolted to a solid backspacer, also made of G10. Simple, solid design gives assurance of many years of use. Deep forefinger groove improves grip. Pivot axis is decorated with stylized screw. One-position (right side) metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position. Above the clip lanyard hole, a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
