Steel
1.4116, X50CrMoV15 - molybdenum-vanadium steel used for high-end knives, cutlery and surgical tools. It is characterized by quite high, as for stainless steels, hardness. Resistant to corrosion in kitchen conditions. It is a recommendable alternative to 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / 4H13. Chemical composition is enriched by Chromium content, addition of Molybdenum and Vanadium.
Blade
Extremely sharp Bowie shape, ideal for all kinds of field work. Finished in an elegant Satin finish, the smooth Plain blade is Hollow Grind for reduced weight and excellent cutting performance. Large finger choil makes it easy to guide the knife for precision work. Long false blade on the back for excellent penetration properties.
Handle
Made of black micarta (compressed canvas with synthetic resin). Chamfered edges on the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfortable grip and the texture improves control of the knife. The covers have been screwed directly to the tang, making the overall construction very rigid and durable. The contoured handle provides good control of the knife.
Sheath
Hand sewn, made of natural leather in black with embossed producer logo. Attaches to the belt or equipment allowing to carry the knife in upright position.
