D2 steel - high carbon tool steel. With a high content of 10-13% chromium, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and abrasion resistance.
Blade - cleaver (chopper) type, finished with a scratch-masking Bead Blasted method. The long cutting edge with a clearly marked belly, converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind combined with the width of the blade guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism. When opened, the flipper fin forms a mini-guard preventing the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the blade upper jimping, notched thumb rest. Liner-Lock mechanism.
Handle - black G10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin) facings, textured to improve grip confidence, bolted to the knife's steel frame. The so-called open-backed design without the typical backspacer, fastened together with steel spacers for easy cleaning. The simple, secure design gives assurance of many years of use. A fore finger groove improves grip security. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized manufacturer's logo.
