Specwog Warrior Combat Knife, the result of a collaboration between the FKMD (Fox Knives Military Division) brand and Dean Rostohar. Expert and instructor of martial arts and close combat, veteran of the Yugoslav Civil War, former soldier of the Croatian special forces unit SJP Alpha, founder of the Specwog (Special Warrior Operation Group). The blade is distinguished by its semicircular shape, enabling cutting and chopping with great force. Handle shape for users who appreciate a wide range of knife grip styles.
The creator of the Tactical Technic Combat System T.T.C.S. (T.T.B.S.) school, where he teaches various skills including tactics and blade fighting, which he has been practicing for 30 years. The idea for Specwog tactical combat knives was born with the combat techniques used that distinguish the T.T.C.S. system from others. Dean decided to design knives that work best in combat situations, but can be used as all-purpose or survival knives.
N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
PVD - the resistance of the surface of the wedge and cutting edge has been increased by the method of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) of a thin surface coating, in which a layer of coating material is deposited on the substrate by condensation from the gas phase to the solid phase. The deposited coating has a very high hardness, which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to abrasive wear.
Blade - with Spear-shaped profile, pointed spear-shaped cutting edge provides high thrusting power and excellent penetration during piercing / stabbing. The distinctive tooth on the blade allows deeper penetration and cutting edge. The sharp back of the tooth prevents the knife from slipping when performing reverse grip techniques, firmly adhering to the surface. The cutting edge is always in a horizontal position when the knife is rotated for cutting. To improve blade control, the drooping back of the blade is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest. The broadly shaped blade allows powerful stabs, cuts and chopping without excessive force.
Handle - ergonomically designed to avoid unnecessary pressure and strain on the wrist. Textured black G10 plastic liners. Slightly curved, triangular back of the handle to make it easier to hit specific points on the body, can also be used to hit glass. Lanyard hole, a hole for a rope. The wide-formed guard shields the hand from slipping on the blade.
Sheath - made of black plastic. Equipped with a multi-position mount with screws and a set of clips for M.O.L.L.E. system tapes.
