MKM Flame Light Dagger Green Micarta, Stonewashed M390 by Michael Zieba (MK FL02L-GC)
- Flame Light Green Micarta, Stonewash slim knife with a single-sided dagger blade with a shape reminiscent of the classic Italian style. An elegant, perfectly balanced EDC with a needle-sharp blade. Designed by Polish knifemaker Michael Zieba.
Flame Light Dagger Green Micarta, Stonewashed is the result of a collaboration with acclaimed Polish designer Michal Zięba, who is famous for combining classic aesthetics with modern functionality. This lightweight and extremely slim EDC folder draws inspiration from the traditional forms of Italian knives, but has been reinterpreted - in the spirit of minimalism, precision and everyday practicality. At the center of the design is a Blade made of premium Böhler M390 steel, stonewashed finish, with a dagger profile that guarantees high control and cutting efficiency. The opening mechanism is based on a flipper with a ball bearing system, which ensures smooth and reliable operation without unnecessary resistance. Handle grips based on Canvas Micarta grips offer a secure grip even in adverse conditions. The texture of the material and the neutral color scheme emphasize the utilitarian and subdued character of the model. The whole is complemented by a deep-carry clip, enabling discreet tip-up carry. This is a knife that meets the requirements of aesthetes, practitioners and collectors - thoughtful in every detail, lightweight and effective.
Michal Zieba - a knifemaker from Rzeszow who went to the USA and achieved spectacular success. Zieba Knives, Michal's company specializes in the production of knives produced in short series with incredible sharpness and unique design. His knives are used by Jennifer Aniston and Sam Kass former White House chef, among others. The first Pole to receive the prestigious award at the 2016 Blade Show in the “Best New Maker” category. The award opened many doors for him, including collaboration with Bob Terzuola, a legend and authority on paramilitary, tactical folding knives.
M390 - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - dagger profile gives the blade great versatility - from precision tasks to everyday utility cuts. The drawn-out flat grind guarantees a balance between durability and cutting edge efficiency, while the stonewashed finish masks traces of use and improves surface resistance. Opening is done with a flipper, and a ball bearing system ensures smooth operation and quick access to the blade. The applied liner lock securely locks the Blade in the open position, protecting the user from accidental folding. Double finger guard protects the hand from slipping on the blade, increasing work safety.
Handle - made of Canvas Micarta, a material that combines low weight with high wear and weather resistance. The slightly textured surface increases grip, even in humid environments. Construction based on steel liners bolted together using a spacer sleeve provides rigidity with minimal weight. A double-sided deep carry clip allows the folder to be carried discreetly in a pocket by both right- and left-handed users. A subtle anodized ring detail around the pivot adds a distinctive touch to the design. The folder comes in a soft Cordura case with zipper and belt-tie option - ideal for safe carrying or storage. T6/T8 torx keys are also included.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
