LionSteel Knife SR11A Red Aluminium, Black Sleipner by Molletta (SR11A RB)
- SR11 Red Aluminium, Black folder by Italian manufactory LionSteel with exclusive Solid technology. Sleipner Swedish high-alloy tool steel blade with high wear and chipping resistance. Blade locks Frame-Lock, RotoLock.
SR11A Red Aluminum, Black folding knife from Italian manufactory LionSteel with exclusive Solid Knife technology. A lightweight and durable highly technological folder, it represents the historic evolution of the iconic SR1. Winner of the knife of the year award at the Blade Show. Comes with pivot-pin-adjustment tool, a wrench to adjust the folder.
Design by Molletta, the result of a collaboration with a well-known and respected designer with years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in knife design.
Sleipner - a versatile high-alloy chrome-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance with a balanced alloy composition: chromium content of 7.8% (Cr), 0.9% carbon (C), molybdenum 2.5% (Mo) and vanadium 0.5% (V). It achieves a high hardness of 60-62 HRC. Manufactured at Uddeholm steel mill.
Blade - massive, Drop Point type with clearly marked belly provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The Plain blade is led out with a Flat Grind, which perfectly presents the matte black MilSpec finish. Located on the underside of the blade, the IKBS-assisted protrusion/flipper makes it easy to open the blade. In the open position, it serves as a lower guard for the one-sided hilt to protect the hand from slipping off the handle.
IKBS - (Ball bearing system) enables fast, smooth opening of the blade.
Solid Frame-Lock - a reinforced, monolithic Ergal aluminum blade lock. One of the grips acts as the locking mechanism and is reinforced with a hardened steel insert.
RotoLock - a lock with a patented additional locking mechanism in the shape of a titanium shield by Gianni Pauletta. When the knife is open, turning the RotoLock about 1/8 turn clockwise wedges the locking mechanism, preventing unintentional release of the blade lock, provides stability of the blade identical to knives with a fixed blade.
Handle - red in color. Made with Solid® Knife technology, obtained from a single piece of Ergal aluminum, machined in 4D. As a result, a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength was obtained, which is a solid structural element. The grip grips were CNC machined, obtaining a non-slip texture. A two-position left/right compact clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up (tip up) position. Bolted to the aluminum frame with a tungsten carbide glass striking screw / nailer. In the back of the grips lanyard hole, a hole for a cord.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
