CPM 20CV - one of the finest tool steels, an American premium martensitic stainless steel. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process. The CPM process produces a very homogeneous, high quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide improved wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. This super steel is comparable to Bohler's M390 steel or Carpenter's CTS-204P. According to some knife manufacturers, 20CV is the best of these three steels in terms of edge retention. It consists of 19.0% carbon (C), 20.0% chromium (Cr), 4.0% vanadium (V), 1.0% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.6% tungsten (W). The high percentage of chromium with a touch of molybdenum makes 20CV one of the best high-end corrosion-resistant steels.

Blade - Tanto type for precision work and cutting, with a marked belly and a hand-polished satin finish. The thickness of the blade provides high strength, a mixed grind is used in this knife, in the back part is a high, concave grind for cutting and precision work so-called Hollow Ground Primary Bevel. At the front end we have a high, flat ground to reinforce the Flat Ground tip. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the opening mechanism of the blade, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel insert to prevent the lock face from rubbing off.

Handle - made of 6AL4V titanium, chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges. The elaborate milling visually relieves the shape of the Handle. The grips are screwed to the titanium backspacer, so the knife retains the desired rigidity and strength ensuring trouble-free performance for years to come. The pivot is decorated with the stylised WE Knife brand logo. A single-position (right) titanium deep carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in the pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip up).

Case - the knife is packaged in a zipped soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transport of the folder.
