Wibra Bronze Titanium, Black Stonewashed large and strong, and at the same time exceptionally light 92 g. An EDC folder addressed to demanding customers, the result of cooperation between the Polish designer Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski and the Bestech Knives company. Elaborate titanium handle, excellent blade steel!
Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski - Polish graphic designer, photographer and talented designer, the main creator of knife designs at Bestech Knives. Known for his unconventional ideas, breaking the stereotypes of knife design. A long collaboration with Bestech has resulted in exquisitely crafted knives made of the finest materials, with a unique look.
M390 Microclean® - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - wide, Wharncliffe type with a Stonewashed finish masking minor scratches which was then black coated. Long cutting edge converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stag. We can also open the knife using a hole in the wedge (thumb hole). A section of the back of the wedge is covered with an upper jimping, a notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole thing is locked with a proven and popular frame lock with a steel insert to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle - is two pieces of solid titanium 6AL4V with striking decorations made with CNC digital machine tools. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip security. The solid titanium backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. A single-position, right-handed titanium clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward.
Case - the knife is packed in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand's logo for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
