CPM 20CV - one of the best tool steels, American premium martensitic stainless steel. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide better wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. This super steel is comparable to Bohler's M390 steel or Carpenter's CTS-204P. According to some knife manufacturers, 20CV is the best of these three steels in terms of edge retention. It consists of 1.9% carbon (C), 20.0% chromium (Cr), 4.0% vanadium (V), 1.0% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.6% tungsten (W). The high percentage of chromium with a touch of molybdenum makes 20CV one of the best high-end corrosion-resistant steels.

Blade - a clip point type, finished with a scratch-masking Stonewashed finish, followed by a black coating. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stag. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel insert to prevent wiping of the lock face.

Jungle Wear Carbon Fiber - the latest design from Fat Carbon, a company specializing in the production of epoxy-carbon (carbon fiber) composites for, among other things, knife handle grips! The unique "Jungle Wear" design was inspired by the importance of conservation and the need to preserve rainforest resources, which produce 20% of the world's oxygen needs. Concerned with sustainability, Fat Carbon uses only renewable energy sources to produce its composites, including "Jungle Wear."

Handle - made of black 6AL4V titanium with gold accents, Fat Carbon Jungle Wear's artful inlays contrast beautifully with the titanium. Contouring of the covers eliminates sharp edges. The grips are joined together with a titanium backspacer. The textured surface improves grip confidence. The simplicity and robustness of the design give confidence in many years of use. The single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. The backspacer has a place for threading a safety or decorative cord. The decorative finish of the pivot bolt is made of flame-dyed 6AL4V titanium.

Case - included zippered soft nylon case with manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
