Hera S/E Frag Signature Black Aluminum Shadow, Black DLC one of the best and versatile OTF (Out The Front) automatic knives. Modeled after the iconic Troodon automatic, it is an intermediate link between EDC and tactical models. The over-the-top automatic operates in D/A (Double Action) mode using an opening mechanism that works with great force and power. This model features an excellent fit and superb finish. Hera Series - OTF tactical automatic knives, which feature the perfect combination of utility and aesthetics. Knives with D/E and S/E blades and handles made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum. A unique feature of Hera automatic knives is the milled titanium pocket clip equipped with a smooth rollerball, which allows the knife to slide easily into any pocket.

Signature Series - Microtech's elite line of products designed for buyers who are looking for a more exclusive touch to the much-loved Core Series production models (logo with claws on the knife). The highest quality materials and finishes are often used in the production of Signature Series knives. The line also includes themed knives such as Bounty Hunter, Memento Mori and Molon Labe. A distinctive feature is the marking with the dagger logo on the Handle and Anthony Marfione's signature on the clip.

DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade's surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating, which exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in the industry, including the knife industry.

Blade - machine ground S/E (Single Edge Drop Point) type, coated with black DLC coating. The blade was derived with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), providing excellent cutting properties. The grain with a series of holes strengthens the blade. This gives the knife excellent piercing properties while maintaining its strength. The strong mechanism of extending/retracting the blade with the help of the moled Thumb Slide, a stepped thumb slide, requires for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring. The method of opening provides seamless opening for both right and left-handed people.

Handle - made with excellent precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. The distinctive texture of the Handle imitating the surface of a fragmentation grenade (Frag Pattern), in addition to visual value, makes the knife does not slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the back and bottom of the Handle for a more secure grip. Slim profile and milled from titanium, the single-position pocket clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-down position (blade tip down). Equipped with a smooth rollerball that allows the knife to slide easily into a pocket without damaging the pocket edges. The clip bears the signature of Anthony Marfione.
