Sendy Green/Red G10, Satin is a compact, lightweight E.D.C. folding knife, a new design by American traveler and knifemaker Ben Petersen. A compact folder for the field, with a classic look and sturdy construction. The Handle cleverly hides two additional tools, tweezers and a toothpick. Thanks to its small size, it will not take up much space in our expedition luggage so it will always be at hand!
Ben Petersen came into contact with the knife industry in 2011, supplementing his college education with a casual job making YouTube videos. The vortex of the knife world drew him in and he spent the next eight years working full-time in the industry at a knife retailer and manufacturer. He dealt with thousands of knives, recording more than 1,000 knife videos and producing knife marketing content for the entire industry. During his travels, Ben developed a particular preference for knives, such as blades under 3 inches and a fondness for blue Handle grips in simple designs. After years of advertising other people's knives, Ben created his first EC design called "Banter." It is a thoughtful combination of all the features Ben loves in knives. When he's not working on knives, Ben spends most of his time backpacking, biking and exploring his home state of Utah with his wife and four children. And like him, they all like knives, too.
Civivi - a sub-brand of WE Knife, a company that produces knives of the highest global quality. Production takes place on the same production lines as WE, so the highest standard of assembly is maintained.
Nitro-V stainless chrome-based martensitic knife steel introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron (NJSB). The manufacturer used the existing superior AEB-L knife steel and upgraded it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially crucial in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its resistance to staining and corrosion. The recommended working hardness is between 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V will be a good fit for knives that require good strength.
Blade - Drop point with a well-defined belly finished with an elegant satin finish. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with a front flipper. As a result, it can be easily used by right- and left-handed users. To maintain full control of the blade, the back of the blade is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest. The whole thing is locked by a simple and proven Liner Lock.
Handle - rough grips made of G10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin), which were screwed to steel liners. The G10 backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized Civivi brand logo. A two-position left/right metal deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up). On the back of the Handle in the recesses between the micarta and steel liner are hidden very useful in the field tools, steel tweezers and toothpick.
Case - the knife is packed in a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
