14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Swedish Sandvik steel mills. The optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Axis Lock - a transverse beam that moves horizontally in longitudinal cutouts in the steel side plates of the handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking beam overlaps the back of the blade from above, preventing its return movement. This beam is pressed down by two springs. Unlocking is done by pulling back the locking bar, the ends of which are accessible through cutouts in the grips on the sides of the Handle grips. In the locked position, the bar presses against the cam surface at the rear of the blade, preventing it from opening on its own. Advantages of the Axis Lock include resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of operation with both right and left hands, and lightweight operation.

Blade - with drop point profile. Finished masking fine scratches using the Sandblasted method in which fine sand particles are thrown under pressure onto the blade to give it a stylish and practical look. The long cutting edge with a slight belly tapers towards a sharp blade tip. The blade's thickness and elongated fuller provide excellent durability, while the high flat grind ensures outstanding edge geometry and exceptional cutting performance. Phosphor bronze washers ensure smooth and seamless operation of the mechanism, assisting blade deployment via the thumb hole. The blade spine includes upper jimping, a textured thumb rest for enhanced control. The blade is secured with a reliable Axis Lock mechanism.

ULTEM™ is a lightweight, translucent thermoplastic belonging to the family of Polyetherimides (PEI). This material is known for its exceptional mechanical strength and impact resistance, offering a very high strength-to-weight ratio. It also boasts excellent thermal resistance (up to 180⁰C) and superior chemical resistance to a wide range of solvents (both synthetic and natural), lubricants, and other chemical agents. Additionally, its complete immunity to environmental conditions makes it an ideal material for knife handles.

Handle - grips made of transparent Ultem™ thermoplastic, textured to improve grip confidence, are bolted to the knife's steel frame. The so-called open-backed design without the typical backspacer, fastened together with steel spacers for easy cleaning. The simple, sturdy design gives you the assurance of many years of use. Ergonomic finger recess for easy grip on the Handle. Pivot decorated with stylized manufacturer's logo. Two-position (right/left) steel deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
