M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - Sheepsfoot type, with a wide blade finished with a scratch-masking Sand Blasted finish. The long cutting edge in relation to the Blade's length converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the knife's opening mechanism. The opening in the wedge allows both right and left-handed people to open the knife quickly and effortlessly. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. A small choil makes sharpening easy. The whole is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - is two pieces of Micarta composite (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin), deeply textured to improve grip security, screwed to the steel frame of the knife. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip confidence. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The simple, solid construction gives the assurance of many years of use. A deep finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip confidence. The pivot is decorated with a stylized Kubey Knife brand logo. A two-position (right.left) titanium deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up (blade tip up) position.
