Vincenzo Fiore - a master of balisong knives and owner of Fiore Knives, is an Italian artist who creates extraordinary works of art with sharp edges. His butterfly knives delight with their form, function and finesse. Each one is unique and inimitable, thanks to the Pinsless system, which allows the pieces to be joined together without screws or nuts. Vincenzo Fiore finishes and assembles his knives by hand, taking care of every detail. His designs are so popular that they sell out in a flash, reaching prices of $1,000 to $3,000. Vincenzo loves his work and creates knives with passion and joy. That's why all of his models are latch-less, without a safety catch which allows you to do tricks in a spectacular way. If you're looking for balisong knives of the highest quality, check out Vincenzo Fiore - a knifemaker who combines art, architecture and design.
M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - the resistance of the surface of the wedge and cutting edge is enhanced by a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin films by condensing an evaporated form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to rust and abrasive wear.
Blade - geometrical tanto type, coated with black PVD coating. The sharp transition of the belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Extremely smooth pivot action.
Handle - slightly rough-textured titanium grips also coated with a black PVD coating. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges. Pivot axes set extremely close to each other due to the lack of stop pins. Such a solution allows for much smoother operation, making it easier to perform complex tricks. For the same reason, the designer dispensed with the bar that secures the arms in the open position, on the assumption that the main purpose of his balisong is to provide fun,
Case - included high-quality leather case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the balisong.
