Andrew Demko - owner and founder of Demko Knives, first started forging chisels in 1988, when he was in seventh grade. Blade - Spear Point type, coated with black powder protective coating. The belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the slender blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. A cutting edge is also brought out on the back near the tip, creating a Double Edge type wedge. The thickness of the wedge provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.

Handle - grips made of thermoplastic material insensitive to weather conditions and resistant to chemicals. The texture of the material provides a comfortable and secure grip.
