The blade can be opened in two different ways. A deep clip makes it easy to carry and provides security. All this makes this knife an ideal choice for people who appreciate both style and functionality. Whether you are a knife collector or simply appreciate high quality and functionality, this knife is sure to meet your expectations.
Jesper Voxnaes began creating knives in 1989, when he was just 18 years old, forging each blade completely on his own. His unique style stems from the meeting of his roots in world-renowned Scandinavian design with his passion for American knifemaking. This original approach quickly made his knives very popular, especially in the US, so much so that he was able to expand his business with machines he made himself. Since then, he has been a professional knifemaker and has worked as a designer with many top knife companies, achieving great success in many different fields.
CPM MagnaCut - a powder stainless steel produced using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened between 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more "conventional" steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This unique steel is manufactured at Crucible® Industries' American steel mills.
Blade - Drop Point type with a clearly marked blade belly, finished with an elegant satin finish. The solid thickness of the blade, combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings support the smooth operation of the Blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened using either the dual thumb studs in the blade (dual thumb studs) or a quick index-finger flipper. When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. Liner lock mechanism.
Handle - Pau Rose wood grips, artfully milled to create texture on the handle. Joined together using a CNC-milled backspacer, so the knife retains the desired rigidity of construction. The backspacer and the decorative ring around the pivot, the so-called pivot collar, are made of titanium. The fore finger groove made at the front improves grip security, while forming a guard with the flipper to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. A right-handed, single-position titanium deep-carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in the tip-up (tip up) position. At the end of the Handle lanyard hole, a hole for a cord.
