Bryan Montalvo, Bryan's adventure with knives began near Austin, Texas, when he combined his design skills with a long-standing love of knives and a community of supportive fans to create Keanison Knives. Keanison is best known for his handmade folding knives designed using a wealth of exotic materials. Bryan's creativity and attention to detail are evident in his collection of knives, each more unique than the last. He has created several iconic designs, including the "Stray" and "Alpha" folders, but the "Bluetick" stands out as his first award-winning design from Blade Show Texas 2023. When Bryan is not designing knives , he spends his time mountain biking and enjoying life with his wife and two daughters in the wonderful state of TEXAS!

Damascus - Damascus stainless steel blade with a unique pattern. Finished using the Black Hand Rubbed, hand rubbed damascus method. The blade consisting of two different types of steel, forged and assembled together in different ways obtaining this amazing pattern. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.

Blade - wide, Drop Point type with a clearly marked belly, finished with etching highlighting the unique damascus patterns. The massive blade combined with a high concave grind (Hollow Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. Finger choil, an index-finger undercut between the Handle and the cutting edge, and an upper jimping notched section of the Blade's back for the thumb make it easy to hold securely during precision tasks The entire blade is locked with a modern Nested Liner Lock.

Nested Liner Lock, a modification of the liner-lock by nesting the liner of the locking mechanism in the grip.

Handle - Guibourtia exotic wood grips, which were screwed to steel liners. The fore finger groove made at the front improves grip security. The massive backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The simple, secure design gives assurance of many years of use. The deep-carry, two-position (right/left) clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position (tip up).
