Andrew Demko - owner and founder of Demko Knives, first started forging chisels in 1988, when he was in seventh grade. He immediately realized it was his passion and began forging knives almost immediately. Like many blacksmiths, Andrew began his journey in the garage, honing blade shapes and sharpening them on a small grinder. Andrew's passion for engineering and attention to detail was noticed by the well-known Cold Steel company. At Cold Steel, Andrew developed some of the most innovative and powerful locking mechanisms in the industry. The legendary Tri-Ad Lock, Scorpion Lock, and most recently the one-handed operator's dream - the Shark-Lock.
80CrV2 (NCV1) - sourced from Thyssen-Krupp's German steel mills, a low-alloy tool steel, highly valued for its exceptional durability, impact resistance, and long-lasting edge retention. It features excellent hardenability, allowing for a homogeneous structure, can be hardened in the range of 58-62 HRC, ensuring superior edge retention while maintaining flexibility. With a high carbon content of 0.75-0.85% (C) and additions of chromium 0.4-0.6% (Cr) and vanadium 0.15-0.3% (V), the steel is very strong and resistant to cracking and chipping. 80CrV2 (NCV1) is a high-performance tool steel, and its outstanding strength and wear resistance make it an ideal choice for those who require a material with superior durability and reliability.
Blade - Tanto type, coated with black powder protective coating. Geometric transition extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the slender blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.
Handle - grips made of TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber), thermoplastic material insensitive to weather conditions and resistant to chemicals. The texture of the material provides a comfortable and secure grip. At the blade a double-sided guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the Blade. In the rear part a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
Sheath - made of kydex, extended. Thanks to the innovative design compatible with the M.O.L.L.E. system, we can, for example, attach it to the equipment. In the lower part a drainage hole for draining water.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
