BD4 Adra Contractor LE No 35/70 Tactical Mud Aluminum, Black Limited Edition. Limited to 70 pieces, a limited edition of a large folding tactical knife issued to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Italian Air Force's special unit, the 17 Stormo Incursori. The knife, numbered 35, its name refers to and pays tribute to the heroic Arditi Distruttori unit of the Regia Aeronautica (ADRA), operating in North Africa during World War II, which won two silver medals for valor on the battlefield.
N690 - corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - extremely sharp with Spear Point profile, 3 mm thick. Made of good sharpness retaining, durable high-cobalt N690 stainless steel and coated with MIL-C-13924 black coating. The double-sided combo blade is derived with a Flat grind which provides strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The serrated part of the edge allows cutting very tough cables and fabrics without losing the sharpness of the rest of the blade. Blade locking system: robust Liner-Lock blade locking mechanism. The protruding flipper lever, when opened, forms a guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - made of anodized aluminum provide lightness and structural strength, to improve the grip the characteristic Extrema Ratio embossing in the front part was made. The so-called open-backed design simplifies cleaning and maintenance. A solid left/right translating titanium clip allows you to carry the knife deep in your pocket (discreetly) in tip-up position.
