Swordfin Titanium/Shredded Carbon Fiber, Black Stonewashed, a design by South African-based knifemaker Thys Meades for WeKnife, a compact, easy-to-carry folding knife. Titanium and carbon fiber on a perfectly crafted Handle, ceramic Ball bearings for a smooth opening, excellent CPM 20CV steel considered one of the best steels for knives. Unbelievable cutting properties! The perfect addition to your EDC gear!

Thys Meades - a knifemaker from South Africa, started making fixed blade knives under the tutelage of Rob Brown, a well-known South African maker, in 2014. About two years later, he started making traditional slipjoints and gained a foothold and recognition in the American market. After a while, I started making slipjoint folding knives, using a mix of modern and traditional materials. He established a reputation with his Guardian, Flow and Swordfish models, the latter produced only in limited editions.
He continues to design and create high-end custom knives making his dreams come true.

CPM 20CV - one of the best tool steels, American premium martensitic stainless steel. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide better wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. This super steel is comparable to Bohler's M390 steel or Carpenter's CTS-204P. According to some knife manufacturers, 20CV is the best of these three steels in terms of edge retention. It consists of 1.9% carbon (C), 20.0% chromium (Cr), 4.0% vanadium (V), 1.0% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.6% tungsten (W). The high percentage of chromium with a touch of molybdenum makes 20CV one of the best high-end corrosion-resistant steels.

Blade - Tanto type, finished with a scratch-masking Stonewashed pebble bath and then black coated. The elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade with a quick index-finger front flipper or with a double-sided peg in the wedge. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - made of 6AL4V titanium with a slightly rough texture, whose beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. Additional grips made of Shredded Carbon Fiber composite were mounted on them. The grips are connected to each other with a titanium backspacer, thanks to which the knife retains the desired rigidity of construction. The simplicity and solidity of the construction give the assurance of many years of use. Single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows carrying the knife in tip-up position. The pivot axis decorated with a titanium rim (pivot collar cap).

Case - included zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
