Colibri COL-9M Pakka Wood, Satin hunting knife with classic lines with a fixed blade of full tang construction, Spanish company Muela. Artfully crafted, it is ideal for collectors, hunting enthusiasts and people who appreciate an active lifestyle. Made of MoVa molybdenum-vanadium steel.
X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) is a high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel alloyed with molybdenum and vanadium, offering excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Commonly used in the production of knives, high-quality cutlery, and surgical tools, it boasts a relatively high hardness of 56–58 HRC for stainless steel. Its chemical composition is enriched with 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), and 0.20% vanadium (V).
Blade - with Drop Point profile, 2.9 mm thick with good mechanical properties and long sharpness holding. Plain-type smooth blade was derived with a flat concave grind (Hollow Grind). Satin Finish (semi-matte) eliminates glare. At the base of the Blade a brass hilt to protect the hand.
Handle - profiled for excellent grip while working. Grips made of natural Pakka wood. Bolster and rivets securing the covers made of high nickel brass. In the back of the Handle a hole for mounting a thong, safety cable.
Sheath - extended, protects the Blade along with part of the Handle. Made of natural brown leather with embossed company logo. Sheath is stitched on the edges with decorative thread. Mounting to a belt or a belt equipment allows to carry the knife in an upright position.
