Paragon Phoenix Black Aluminum, Satin CPM S35VN (PHOENIX-CB-S)
- Phoenix Black Aluminum, Satin large folding knife with an original gravity opening method. Black coated aluminum grips, Blade made of the well-known and popular CPM S35VN steel. Made with pride by American craftsmen!
Phoenix Black Aluminum, Satin differs from traditional folding knives by using an innovative opening mechanism. The large, textured pivot serves as a double locking button. By pressing both sides of the pivot at the same time, the Handle splits, exposing the Blade; through gravity and wrist movement, the Blade will slide out to the open position. This is a fun and innovative opening mechanism, effective and also provides a solid lock. The Phoenix knows how to get down to business and will work as long as you want it to, but it's also capable of satisfying your thirst for fun. It's a knife you'll always be happy to have with you.
CPM S35VN - American martensitic high-alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 59-61 HRC, one of the best blade steels. Designed to provide better strength compared to CPM S30V, while keeping corrosion resistance at the highest level. Manufactured by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy/ Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. The chemical composition has been balanced so that it is composed of 0.5% niobium carbides (Nb) along with 3.0% vanadium (V) and 14.0% chromium (Cr) carbides. Replacing some of the niobium carbides with vanadium carbides makes the steel about 15-20% harder than S30V without sacrificing wear resistance, and it is also easier to machine and polish. The improved strength of CPM S35VN also provides better resistance to edge chipping.
Blade - Straight Back type , single edged (Single Edge), finished with an elegant satin finish. The smooth Plain blade was derived with a flat grind, which provides strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. On the back a long swedge to improve piercing properties. A section of the blade's back is covered with upper jimping, a notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. Smooth and smooth gravity opening, clamshell locking mechanism.
Clamshell - the locking mechanism is operated by buttons located in the pivot on both sides of the handle. When both buttons are pressed, the handle swings open allowing the blade to open by gravity. Once open, releasing the buttons causes both grips to slide down locking the blade securely. Closure is analogous, press the pivot, the facings swing apart, gravity fold the Blade inward, release the pivot, the grips come together securing the blade in the closed position.
Cerakote™ - a ceramic-based finish that can be applied to metals to improve a range of physical properties, including abrasion/wear and corrosion resistance. Thin-film non-reflective, low-friction matte protective coating resistant to heat, chemicals and impact. Provides durability and hardness.
Handle - solid aluminum grips, a very lightweight and durable material coated with black Cerakote™. Bolted together with a Clamshell locking mechanism. Thanks to this design, the knife is very light, while maintaining high strength. The surface texture of the Handle makes the knife non-slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the back and bottom of the handle for a more secure grip. A right-handed, single-position titanium deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up (blade up) position.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
