The ergonomic Handle is made of composite, the blade is made of MagnaCut, a state-of-the-art tool steel that is now considered one of the best on the market. MagnaCut is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance and exceptional durability of the cutting edge. It is an exceptional example of a compact EDC (Every Day Carry) knife, an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable everyday tool.
Denis Simonutti, born in 1986 in Maniago, is an Italian designer and knifemaker from Friuli. He has been in the knifemaking business since 2010 and is known as the inventor of the Fingers Safe Opening System locking system. His passions are mountaineering and photography, which he combines with his design skills to create knives with unique design and functionality. He works with the Fox brand for which he designed the “The Claw” series of Karambit knives, combining oriental style with practical application.
CPMMagnaCut - a powder stainless steel produced by the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This unique steel is produced at Crucible® Industries' U.S. steel mills.
Crossbar Lock - acrossbar that moves horizontally in longitudinal cutouts in the steel side plates of the handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking bar overlaps the back of the Blade from above, preventing it from moving back. This beam is pressed down by two springs. Unlocking is done by pulling back the locking bar, the ends of which are accessible through cutouts in the grips on the sides of the Handle grips. In the closed position, the bar presses against the cam surface at the rear of the Blade, preventing it from opening on its own. Advantages of the Crossbar Lock include resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of operation with both right and left hands, and lightweight operation.
Blade - wide, Drop Point type with a clearly marked belly, finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles. Ball bearings support the smooth operation of the opening mechanism of the wedge, which can be opened with a double-sided pin in the wedge (dual thumb studs). The small thickness of the wedge, combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The entire blade is locked with an intuitive Crossbar Lock.
Handle - made of Burlap Micarta composite, a virtually indestructible plastic that is insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage, beautifully milled using CNC machine tools. The open-backed design, fixed with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The simple, secure design gives assurance of many years of use. Single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
