CPM MagnaCut - Powdered stainless steel manufactured using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin films by condensing an evaporated form of the desired material onto the surface of a workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to rust and abrasive wear.
Blade - Sheepsfoot type blade, coated with black PVD coating. The solid thickness of the wedge combined with a high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Smooth and smooth opening is provided by a fast flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. The knife can also be opened with a hole in the blade. A notched section of the Blade's back, the spine jimping positions the thumb, giving solid support, making it easier to operate the knife. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.

Above the clip a lanyard hole, a hole for threading a decorative or safety cord.
